About Dr. Cox

After residency, Christina worked as a pediatric clinical pharmacy specialist at Palmetto Health Children's hospital before joining the SCCP faculty in May 2010. Since her arrival, she has worked to increase student exposure to pediatrics throughout the curriculum, including starting a Pediatric Elective course and offering students an opportunity to work on clinical research. Christina continues to be an advocate for pediatric pharmacy as an active member of the Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group (PPAG), American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), American Society of Health-System Pharmacy (ASHP), and South Carolina Society of Health-System Pharmacy (SCSHP). Her love of teaching and education also led to her being awarded the 2010 Preceptor of the Year for the South Carolina College of Pharmacy. Outside of pharmacy, Christina enjoys Gamecock sports, cooking, music, traveling, and anything Hemingway.
