| Applications must be submitted electronically through the Application Portal (http://www.sccp.sc.edu/students/admissions.aspx). The application is available starting July 1st and the completion deadline of 5 p.m. December 20th. |

| Admission to the South Carolina College of Pharmacy is competitive and is based on the applicant’s completion of pre-pharmacy requirements, GPA, academic record, letters of recommendation, interview evaluations, PCAT scores, honors/awards, extracurricular activities, work experience, and student personal statement concerning their goals for a career in pharmacy. |

| PCAT stands for the Pharmacy College Admission Test. Applicants must take the PCAT and have official scores reported prior to the end of the application period, on or before December 20th. The PCAT is offered four times yearly in June, August, October, and January. More information on the PCAT can be found at: www.PCATweb.info. |
