The South Carolina College of Pharmacy offers or is affiliated with residency programs in hospital settings and in community settings. Hospital residents focus on developing practice skills in differentiated areas and are delegated clinical, teaching and service responsibilities. Community pharmacy residents focus on developing and implementing innovative patient care programs within a community setting.
The South Carolina College of Pharmacy Community Residency Program participates in both the PhORCAS / Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (www.ashp.org/phorcas) and the ASHP Resident Matching Program (www.natmatch.com/ashprmp/). Candidates applying to this program will need to register for both services.

Selected candidates must complete an on-site interview at the South Carolina College of Pharmacy (Columbia, SC) and at Barney's Pharmacy (Augusta, GA). Interviews take place during the months of the January and February.
